Jon Favreau Will Reportedly Be Back as Happy Hogan in SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME
A new report has surfaced saying that Jon Favreau will reprise his role as Happy Hogan in Spider-Man: No Way Home. I just assumed that Favreau would be back because he’s been one of the more prominent mentor characters for Peter Parker throughout Marvel’s Spider-Man solo films.
There are no details on how his character will be utilized in the film, but I imagine he will have a considerable supporting role similar to what he did in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
It’ll be fun to see how his relationship with Aunt May plays out. When Parker confronted him about the situation in the last movie, Happy confessed that he had feelings for Aunt May and that they were dating. Aunt May, on the other hand, only described the relationship as a “summer fling.”
It’ll also be interesting to see how Happy reacts to and helps Spider-Man after the events of the last movie, when Spider-Man was outed to the world.
Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker and he’s joined by Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, and Jamie Foxx ias Electro. It’s also been reported that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will be back as their versions of Spider-Man, but we don’t know for sure if that’s true or not. It’s also been rumored that Kirsten Dunst will return as Mary Jane Watson, Emma Stone could reprise her role as Gwen Stacy, and that Charlie Cox might appear as Daredevil.
Spider-Man 3 is being directed by Jon Watts and it’s currently set to be released this Christmas!
