It took awhile for Jon Hamm to find his legs in Hollywood post-Mad Men, but now it looks like the actor is finally landing some big roles. Variety reports Hamm will star alongside Natalie Portman in Fox Searchlight's upcoming drama Pale Blue Dot. The film, which is written by FX's Legion and Fargo writer Noah Hawley, will explore the theory that astronauts lose touch with reality after prolonged periods in space.
Hamm will play Portman's fellow astronaut, who she will aggressively pursue when she gets back to Earth. Production on the film is believed to be kicking off this Spring. This film sounds like a good opportunity to propel Draper into more starring roles in feature films, so I'm gunning for him to wow people with this performance. What about you?
