Jonathan Banks Confirms His Return For EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE
It was recently reported that El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie would see the return of more than ten familiar characters from the original series. We now know that one of those characters will be Mike Ehrmantraut, the old badass played by Jonathan Banks.
The actor himself spilled the beans during the Emmy’s when talking to ET Canada. When asked about the rumors of his return, the actor said, “Yes. You know, and I’ll get — they’ll hit me in the head for saying this, but yes, why not?” Banks said. “I mean, none of those guys hit very hard anyway [laughs].”

Vince Gilligan’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will continue the story of Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman after the events of the Breaking Bad series. We recently shared a new trailer for the film giving us our first look at Pinkman sitting in his El Camino listening to the news on the radio, which is where he learns that the authorities are looking for him.
The logline for the film reads, “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
We only know of two other characters set to return and they include Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) and Badger (Matt L. Jones). We can expect several more, though, and a lot of fans hope that Bryan Cranston’s Walter White will be worked into the story somehow.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be released on Netflix on October 11th, 2019.
