Jonathan Majors Set To Star in a New Thriller THE MAN IN MY BASEMENT

Jonathan Majors (Loki, Lovecraft Country) is set to star in a new film project titled The Man In My Basement, which is an adaptation of Walter Mosley’s novel. Majors will also serve as an executive producer and the movie will be directed by Nadia Latif.

The movie will tell the story of Charles Blakey, “an African American man living in Sag Harbor, who is stuck in a rut, out of luck and about to lose his ancestral home when a peculiar white businessman with a European accent offers to rent his basement for the summer. He’ll pay $50,000. This lucrative proposition leads Charles down a terrifying path that takes him to the heart of race, history and the root of all evil. Mosley adapted the novel with Latif.”

Majors has been landing one big role after another over the past few years with projects such as Da 5 Bloods, The Harder They Fall, and he’s currently in production on Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III as Adonis Creed’s nemesis. Majors will next be seen in the war film Devotion, as U.S. Navy fighter pilot Jesse Brown and he’s going to start production on Magazine Dreams, playing an amateur bodybuilder who struggles to find human connection in an exploration of celebrity and violence.

Oh yeah! Then there’s Marvel’s Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, which he just completed production on.

Majors is a great actor and I imagine that these big movie roles are going to keep on rolling in for him.
