Jonathan Tucker Has Been Hired on to Star in Drama DEBRIS at NBC

Actor Jonathan Tucker (Parenthood, Snowfall, City on a Hill) has been hired to star in a new pilot at NBC for a drama series called Debris. The series is being written and executive produced by J.H. Wyman and co-executive producer Jason Hoffs. Variety reports the following synopsis and character description for Tucker:

The series follows two agents from two different continents, and two different mindsets, who must work together to investigate when wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft has mysterious effects on humankind.
Tucker will star as Bryan Beneventi, described as a headstrong, smart CIA operative currently working on the investigation of strange occurrences.

Hopefully this will end up being an interesting series for fans to check out, but it sounds an awful lot like one of the September Sweeps shows that builds up a lot of hype and is gone after one season. Does this sound like a series you’d be into?
