Jorge Lendeborg Jr. Cast as Male Lead in The Transformers BUMBLEBEE Spinoff Movie

As one Transformers ends a new Transformers begins. At first, I thought for sure they weren't serious about making a spinoff solo film about Bumblebee. Now... I'm still not sure about it, but whatever.

It has recently been announced that Jorge Lendeborg Jr. will be the new male lead actor who will be working alongside Bumblebee and actress Hailee Steinfeld, who plays the lead female role in the film. I guess Lendeborg Jr. is kind of the new Shia Lebouf. But unlike Shia Lebouf, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. can act. He was recently seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, playing the incredibly awkward boy news anchor for the school news channel. He had some good moments, and I can't wait to see him heading his own movie.

I still have my doubts about how well this movie will work, but there are little things that give me hope. From the fact that the new Bumblebee movie will be set in the 80's to also the fact they have Kubo and the Two Strings director, Travis Knight, in charge. Maybe, there is hope left in the Transformers Franchise.
