Josh Brolin Teases His Cable Transformation in DEADPOOL 2

Deadpool 2 has officially started production up in Canada and since then we have been treated to several behind-the scenes photos from Ryan Reynolds and co-star Josh Brolin. But nothing has been as revealing as Brolin's latest post on his Instagram account. In this telling new pic, Brolin's in a makeup chair getting prepared for what will be Cable's iconic bionic enhancements.

We all know Cable's iconic glowing eye is just part of his bionic facial implants, he also has an enhanced arm and shoulder that come from a "techno-organic virus" he was infected with as a child. In the comics Cable, or Nathan Summers, is a time-traveler who happens to be the biological son of Cyclops and a clone of Jean Grey (Madelyne Pryor). It will be interesting to see how the movies explain Cable's origin.

Deadpool 2 opens in theaters on June 1, 2018.
