Junkie XL Confirmed as Composer of TOMB RAIDER Score
Dutch intrumentalist Junkie XL has confirmed that he will score the upcoming Tomb Raider soundtrack. The musician made the announcement on Instagram that he is now attached to the film that stars actress Alicia Vikander as the infamous Lara Croft.
Junkie XL has an extensive resume that includes working alongside Hans Zimmer on projects such as Inception and The Dark Knight Rises. He also has worked solo on the Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Deadpool soundtracks.
Tomb Raider is based off of the reboot games that first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013. The new story focuses on a much younger Lara Croft that will show how she became the established name as both an archaeologist and an adventurer.
Tomb Raider will hit theaters on March 16th, 2018.
