JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Will Have the Biggest Action Scene in Franchise History

There is no doubt one of the most anticipated movies of next year is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The sequel certainly has a lot to live up to considering Jurassic World is the fourth biggest movie of all time worldwide. And if it’s action you’re hoping for, Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Bayona tells Empire the film will have a lot of action and some like we've never seen before:

Fallen Kingdom [starts] with a massive action piece that feels like a James Bond prologue,” he tells us. “And in the centre there is the biggest set-piece ever done for a Jurassic movie.”

It is possible that the “biggest set-piece” he's talking about is the volcano escape scene we see in the trailer. Co-writer Colin Trevorrow has said that everything we see in the trailer takes place during the first hour of the film, so there is a good chance that scene is the last big action scene revealed in that preview. There is also a chance that Universal is holding back footage to save the best stuff for audiences when its finally released.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom arrives in theaters on June 22, 2018.
