We still don't know much about what director Colin Trevorrow is planning to do with Jurassic World, but he did reveal the timeframe of the film and when it will be set. He was asked the following question on Twitter from @pfcbains916,
"Mr. Trevorrow, everytime I read something, it says JW is a reboot. Please tell us that its not a reboot?! I'm going bonkers!"
Trevarrow responded basically saying the movie is not a reboot, and that it will take place a couple decades after the events of the first film.
"Reboot is a strong word. This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park."
I always thought the movie was going to be a sequel, but fans were thrown off when the original film's star, Sam Neill, said it was going to be a reboot. I'm really excited to see what the story will be, but so far they seem to be putting together a solid cast, which includes Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Josh Brolin, Bryce Dallas Howard and maybe Jason Schwartzman.
