My Little Pony has a big fan base that goes beyond little kids like my two daughters. There's a whole My Little Pony geek culture out there and they are all excited about the upcoming film My Little Pony: The Movie. Obviously, My Little Pony isn't for everyone, but if you have little girls like myself it's one of those things that is hard to escape. There's no doubt that fans are going to enjoy what they see in this trailer. Here's the synopsis:
A new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.
The film also has a crazy impressive voice cast that includes Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba, and Zoe Saldana, with an original song performed by Sia. The voice actors behind the “Mane 6” from Discovery Family’s massively popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series — Andrea Libman, Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck — will also star in the upcoming film.
My Little Pony: The Movie will hit theaters on October 6, 2017.
