JUSTICE LEAGUE Reshoot Set Photo Features Henry Cavill Shooting With His Mustache

When Justice League came out, my husband and I went to see it and had a post-movie discussion, as per usual, wherein we talked about what we liked and disliked about the movie.

I said I loved Ezra Miller as the Flash and was interested to see what they would do with Cyborg in the future. I also mentioned that the CG Steppenwolf was over the top ridiculous looking, and Batman was completely useless, except for providing a hangout.

Then my husband said that Henry Cavill’s face was a total distraction. I agreed, but didn’t realize he was as enamored with Henry Cavill as I was. But alas, as you know, he meant the very upsetting CGI mustache cover up job… that I happen to be the only person on earth that didn’t notice. I’m blissfully unobservant. It’s a gift. The whole thing turned into an internet uproar known as #mustachegate that sent people reeling.

An image has now surfaced in a tweet from PopCultPod of Cavill in the reshoot process for the movie, and we get to see his glorious mustache that he had grown for his role in Mission: Impossible - Fallout.

See the gloriousness for yourself and tell us whether mustachegate was the worst thing that happened to you in 2017.
