Justin Hartley Stars in Trailer for Netflix's Romantic Holiday Drama THE NOEL DIARY

Netflix has released the trailer for their romantic holiday drama, The Noel Diary, starring Justin Hartley (This is Us) and Barrett Doss (Station 19), as well as Bonnie Bedelia (Parenthood), Essence Atkins (Marlon), and James Remar (Dexter). The film is directed by Charles Shyer from screenplay he co-wrote with Rebecca Connor and David Golden.

Here’s the synopsis:

“When best-selling author Jake Turner returns home at Christmas to settle his estranged mother’s estate, he discovers a diary that may hold secrets of his own past and that of Rachel — an intriguing young woman on a mission of her own. Together, they embark on a journey to confront their pasts and discover a future that’s totally unexpected.”

This doesn’t look too bad. I am not a fan of the cookie-cutter Hallmark Christmas movies that get pumped out every year because they are just too cheesy and essentially all the same. This looks like a different kind of story, and like it’s pretty interesting and well-done. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think. The Noel Diary is set to drop on Netflix on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th.
