Justin Theroux is Set To Play Tramp in Disney's LADY AND THE TRAMP
We've got another casting announcement for Disney's upcoming film adaptation of Lady and the Tramp. According to Collider, Justin Theroux (The Leftovers, The Spy Who Dumped Me) will be joining the previously cast Ashley Jensen (The Lobster, Hysteria) in the film and Theroux will provide the voice of Tramp opposite Lady, who has yet to be cast.
The story Follows "a pampered cocker spaniel named Lady whose comfortable life slips away once her owners have a baby. When, after some tense circumstances, Lady finds herself on the loose and out on the street, she is befriended and protected by the tough stray mutt Tramp. A romance begins to blossom between the two dogs, but their many differences, along with more drama at Lady’s household, threaten to keep them apart."
Lady and the Tramp is being released in 2019 exclusively on Disney’s upcoming streaming service sometime next year and it will be directed by Charlie Bean (The Lego Ninjago Movie, Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack ).
