Top Hat Studios and Squiddershins announced that their new game Kaichu - The Kaiju Dating Sim will release on September 7, 2022 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Take on the role of Gigachu, a radioactive romantic giant dinosaur looking for love, in a Saturday morning cartoon styled game. You’ll meet 6 other eligible Kaiju from around the globe. 2 news anchors will help guide you through the complex and destructive courtship rituals of the Kaiju and you’ll need their expertise to help deduce the likes, dislikes, and quirks of each Kaiju. Take your sweetheart around the world with 24 unique locations for dates in an extensive world map. The game will be available for $9.99.
Dating sims are usually not my thing, but after giving Sucker for Love a chance and absolutely loving it, I’m willing to try this one out. The main drawback for me is it doesn’t sound like there is any voice acting for the anchors which is disappointing. But the cute graphics might help make up for it, we’ll have to wait and find out.
