Kaitlyn Dever Joins George Clooney and Julia Roberts in TICKET TO PARADISE
Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart, Unbelievable) is set to star alongside George Clooney and Julia Roberts in the upcoming Universal Pictures film Ticket To Paradise. Billie Lourd was also previously cast in the project.
This is an original comedy and Clooney and Roberts will play “a divorced couple that teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago.”
Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) will direct the film. The script for the film comes from Parker and Daniel Pipski. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title will produce alongside Sarah Harvey and Deborah Balderstone. Clooney and Grant Heslov will produce for their Smokehouse Pictures.
Dever has had a solid acting career, which kicked into a whole new level after Booksmart and the limited series Unbelievable. She also appeared in the shows Last Man Standing and Justified. She is currently shooting the Hulu limited series Dopesick alongside Michael Keaton and next will be seen in Stephen Chbosky’s Dear Evan Hansen for Universal.
