Kaley Cuoco Set To Star in Peacock's Dark Comedy Thriller BASED ON A TRUE STORY

Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) is set to take on the lead role in Peacock’s upcoming dark comedic thriller project, which is titled Based On a True Story. The series comes from The Boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg along with Ozark star/executive producer Jason Bateman.

The series is inspired by a bizarre true event, “about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow close toilet seat.” Cuoco will play a married woman named Ava Bartlett, the realtor character. There are no other details on the story besides that.

Cuoco has signed a two-season deal for Based On a True Story. That deal also allows her to return to the HBO Max hit The Flight Attendant if she decides to move forward with a third season of that. It seems like Based on a True Story is going to be another perfect project for her to be a part of!

Cuoco is currently shooting the action-thriller feature Role Play for director Thomas Vincent, in which she stars opposite David Oyelowo.
