Kaley Cuoco Wants to Solve Murders in Trailer For BASED ON A TRUE STORY

Peacock has dropped the first trailer for their upcoming original series Based on a True Story. The series will star Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) and Chris Messina (Air) as a loving couple falling on hard times. The pair start up a true crime podcast after Cuoco’s character seemingly figures out who a serial murderer is. The series also stars Tom Bateman (Thirteen Lives) and will even include Natalia Dyer (Stranger Things).

A dark comedic thriller, BASED ON A TRUE STORY is about a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber who seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime.

Based on a True Story comes from creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer Craig Rosenberg with Alex Buono directing the first and last episodes. The series will run for 8 episodes with all of them premiering on June 8 only on Peacock.
