Karen Gillan Teases THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY HOLIDAY SPECIAL Calling It "Extremely Funny"
Director James Gunn has been talking up his most recent project, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, calling it the best thing he’s ever done. Now Guardians of the Galaxy star, Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula in the franchise, is joining the love fest.
In a recent interview with Screenrant, promoting her upcoming movie Dual, Gillan weighed in on the hype around the holiday special, saying:
"I mean, it could be! I haven't seen it yet. I don't know, but it's totally possible that it is. I think it's gonna be extremely funny."
Extremely funny is a good enough review to get me excited to see the special this holiday season! Gillan will be joined in the special by returning co-stars Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. Gunn has also teased that multiple MCU heroes will be introduced in the special, including one he considers to be "one of the greatest MCU characters of all time."
Plot details for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special are currently unknown, though Gunn has confirmed its events will lead into the highly anticipated third MCU film, his final in the franchise.
