Kate Bosworth, Ron Perlman, and Lin Shaye to Join Horror-Thriller CARRIER From Writers of 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE
Kate Bosworth (21, Superman Returns), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy), and Lin Shaye (There’s Something About Mary, Insidious) are in final negotiations to join the horror-thriller Carrier. Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger) is directing the picture from a script written by the 10 Cloverfield Lane writing team, Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken.
The tagline for the film reads, “In Carrier, when a mysterious phenomenon leads to mass chaos, a splintering family escapes to a small island…but their troubles are only beginning.”
Harlin said of the story:
“Josh and Matt have created a spellbinding screenplay, which provides me with an arsenal of exceptional characters, non-stop twists and turns, and groundbreaking action. Our fantastic cast, led by Kate Bosworth, Ron Perlman and Lin Shaye is a genre enthusiast’s dream come true.”
