Katee Sackhoff Has Joined THE FLASH as a Villain!
Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff has officially joined the cast of The Flash in a recurring role. According to EW, the actress will take on the role of the DC Comics villain Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith.
The character is described as "a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives."
The character is set to make her debut in episode 405, which is titled “Girls Night Out.” The episode is also said to serve as a mini-crossover with Arrow as Emily Bett Rickards will appear in it as Felicity.
I'm a big fan of Sackhoff and it's always great to see her land a new role in something. It'll be fun to see her play a villain in The Flash! The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
