Star Wars fans were excited to see Katee Sackhoff reprise her role as Bo-Katan in the last episode of The Mandalorian. She voiced the character in The Clone Wars and Rebels, and to see her play the live-action version of the character as well was awesome!

She had a pretty sizable role in the episode as she and her Nite Owl crew are on a mission to take back their home planet now that the Empire has fallen and she’s also on a mission to get the Darksaber back from Moff Gideon.

As you saw, the character has changed a bit since the last time we saw her in Rebels, and in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sackhoff explains how the character has changed saying:

"I think that there is a little piece of Bo-Katan that I don't think you see coming. She's got something else going on in her mind and everything she does is purposeful. And I think that is new for her. She's grown into the role of a leader, and she finally believes she is a leader. And there is an ego that comes with being a leader that may or may not work against her."

This isn’t the last that we will see of the character. I don’t know when we will see Bo-Katan again, but we will. The episode also saw the character inform The Mando about Ahsoka Tano, who we might actually get to see in the next episode! The anticipation is killing me!

Anyway, it’s great to see that Bo-Katan plays a big role in this story that is being built, and I can’t wait to see how the character evolves from here.

What are your thoughts on what Sackhoff had to say about the character?
