Katey Sagal Joins Ted Danson and Elizabeth Banks in Untitled Apple TV+ Comedy Series

Golden Globe winning actress Katey Sagal (Married With Children, Futurama, Sons of Anarchy) is the latest to be added to the cast of the untitled Apple TV+ comedy series from Liz Heldens and Matt Ward.

Sagal will appear alongside previously announced lead Elizabeth Banks as well as fellow cast members Ted Danson and Rob Delaney.

The logline for the show states, “Fresh off a messy divorce, Heidi (Banks) sets out to secure a lively second act for herself and her kids.

“But when she stumbles into coordinating her father’s (Danson) retirement community sexcapades, Heidi is forced into an unlikely alliance with his girlfriend’s perpetually single son.”

Sagal will play Mavis, described as Heidi’s dad’s new girlfriend. She recently appeared in Season 2 of the Netflix live-action version of One Piece as Dr. Kureha.

Other recent roles include The Conners, Rebel, The Abandons, Shameless, and Superior Donuts.
