Kathy Bates, Laura Linney, and Maggie Smith Star in the Heartwarming Trailer for the Irish Dramedy THE MIRACLE CLUB

A new trailer has been released for the feel-good Irish dramedy The Miracle Club, starring Academy Award-winner Kathy Bates (Misery, The Office), Emmy-winning and Academy Award-nominated Laura Linney (Kinsey, Mystic River) and Academy Award-winner Maggie Smith (Harry Potter, Downton Abbey). The film also stars Agnes O'Casey and Stephen Rea, and was directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan from a screenplay written by Joshua D. Maurer, Timothy Prager, and Jimmy Smallhorne.

Here’s the synopsis:

Ballygar, Ireland, in the year 1967: a boisterous hard-knocks community in outer Dublin that marches to its own beat – frenzied, fast and loose – and yet also deeply soulful; rooted in traditions of loyalty, faith & togetherness. And the opportunity to rise above one's daily struggles is frankly a pipe dream, especially for women. There's just one dream for the women of Ballygar to taste freedom and escape the gauntlet of domestic life: to win a pilgrimage to the sacred French town of Lourdes.
