Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Announce BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Will Be Released Summer of 2020!
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have some exiting news for us! Orion Pictures has released a video featuring the two actors thanking the fans for the support they’ve given to their efforts to get Bill & Ted Face The Music off the ground, and they announced that the movie will start shooting this summer in New Orleans and then it will be released on August 21st, 2020!
This long-awaited third Bill & Ted movie is actually happening! Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Fun With Dick and Jane) will direct from a script written by the original Bill & Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. Here’s the synopsis:
Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
I’m super stoked about this! I know the film has been getting closer to happening over the years, so it’s so cool to see all coming together.
