Keanu Reeves Leads a Cult of Cannibals in Trailer for THE BAD BATCH
I've got crazy-ass trailer for you to watch for a film called The Bad Batch, which follows a girl captured by a band of cannibals living in a wasteland led by Keanu Reeves. The film comes from director Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), and it looks like it'll be a wild, jacked-up ride. This first trailer definitely sparked my interest.
The Bad Batch has a great cast that also includes Suki Waterhouse (Love, The Divergent Series: Insurgent), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Giovanni Ribisi (Ted, Sneaky Pete).
The story follows Arlen (Waterhouse) "as she is unceremoniously dumped in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilized society. While trying to orient her unforgiving environment, she is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she’ll have to fight her way through her new reality. As Arlen adjusts to life in ‘the bad batch’ she discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on who you’re standing next to."
The Bad Batch will be released on June 23rd.
