Keanu Reeves Says It's Always Been a Dream to Play Batman in Live-Action
Keanu Reeves provides the voice of Batman in the upcoming animated DC film DC League of Super-Pets, which is such fun casting. But, it turns out that it’s always been a dream of Reeves to play Batman in live-action. In a recent interview with Extra the actor shared:
"It's always been a dream, but [Robert] Pattinson's got Batman right now and he's doing awesome, so maybe down the road. Maybe when they need an older Batman."
Unfortunately for Reeves, Michael Keaton is now playing an older version of Batman, which I’m incredibly excited about because Keaton is one of my favorite versions of Batman. But, I would absolutely love to see Reeves play Batman!
Warner Bros. could totally make a standalone Batman film separate from what Matt Reeves is doing and tell a completely different Batman story. Warner Bros. has already established that they are ok with doing something like that with its DC characters. So, why the hell not make a Batman movie with Keanu Reeves!?
What Batman story would you like to see Reeves involved with?
