Keanu Reeves Set to Co-Write BRZRKR Novel THE BOOK OF ELSEWHERE
Keanu Reeves is expanding his BRZRKR franchise with a new novel titled The Book of Elsewhere, and the actor is going to be co-writing the book. This will be Reeves’ novel debut and he will be writing it alongside China Miéville, who previously wrote books such as Perdido Street Station, Embassytown, and The City & The City.
Del Rey, an imprint of Random House, will publish The Book of Elsewhere in collaboration with Boom Studios, the publisher that’s behind the BRZRKR comics series.
The Book of Elsewhere is described as a "genre-bending epic of ancient powers, modern war, and an outcast who cannot die." No plot details have been revealed, but there’s no doubt that fans of BRZRKR will be excited to read this story set in that wild universe.
Reeves says in a statement: "It was extraordinary to have the opportunity to collaborate on The Book of Elsewhere with one of my favorite authors, China Miéville. China did exactly what I was hoping for – he came in with a clear architecture for the story and how he wanted to play with the world of BRZRKR, a world that I love so much. I was thrilled with his vision and feel honored to be a part of this collaborative process."
