Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim Join The Netflix Comedy ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE
Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim have jumped on board a new Netflix comedy in production called Always Be My Maybe. The film is currently in production and the actors will join the previously cast Ali Wong and Randall Park. It's a rare thing to see Reeves do comedy, but it's always fun to see him take on a comedic role. I have no idea what to expect from him in this film, but I hope it's good!
The story follows childhood sweethearts "who have a falling out and don’t speak for 15 years. They reconnect as adults when Sasha, now a celebrity chef opening a restaurant in San Francisco, runs into Marcus, a happily struggling musician still living at home working for his dad."
Nahnatchka Khan is directing the film from a script by Wong, Park, and Michael Golamco. The cast also includes Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Charlyne Yi (Paper Heart), James Saito, Lyrics Born, and Susan Park (Vice Principals).
Netflix will debut the film in 2019. Reeves is currently shooting John Wick: Chapter 3 and Kim is set to appear in the Lionsgate Hellboy reboot.
