Kelly Reilly and Rafe Spall Return to a Town That Won’t Stay Buried in Sky’s UNDER SALT MARSH Trailer
Sky has released the trailer for Under Salt Marsh, a new crime series that drops viewers into a coastal town where old wounds refuse to heal. The stars Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly and Rafe Spall as two former partners forced back together when a long-dormant case rips back open.
Reilly, fresh off her six-season run as Beth Dutton opposite Kevin Costner in Yellowstone, plays Jackie Ellis, a detective whose life unraveled after a case went cold three years earlier.
When a shocking discovery surfaces, it drags Jackie back into the investigation that cost her everything, including her career and her family’s trust.
The case also pushes her into an uneasy reunion with her estranged former partner, Detective Eric Bull, played by Spall. Together, they return to Morfa Halen, a community weighed down by secrets it has tried and failed to forget.
As Jackie and Bull dig deeper, the town itself becomes an adversary. Every lead stirs resentment, fear, and buried guilt, turning the investigation into something far more personal.
The story leans heavily into atmosphere, using the salt marsh setting as a quiet but constant reminder that nothing stays hidden forever.
Under Salt Marsh is the latest big-budget original series from Sky and the ensemble cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Yang, Dinita Gohil, Brian Gleeson, Kimberley Nixon, and Harry Lawtey.
Under Salt Marsh looks like a grounded and moody crime drama that has potential to hook audiences. The series premieres January 30.
