Kelsey Grammer Set To Star in Plane Crash Thriller NO WAY UP
Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is set to star in an plane crash thriller titled No Way Up and joining him is Phyllis Logan, who is best known for portraying Mrs. Hughes in Downton Abbey.
No Way Up is described as a “rollercoaster combination of disaster movie and survival thriller, as characters from very different backgrounds are thrown together when the plane they’re traveling on crashes into the Pacific Ocean.”
When the airliner comes to “rest perilously close to the edge of a ravine with the surviving passengers and crew trapped in an air pocket, a nightmare fight for survival ensues with the air supply running out and dangers creeping in from all sides.”
Well, that certainly sounds like a nightmare of a situation. It’ll sure make for a thrilling movie, though! The film will be directed by Claudio Fäh (Northmen – A Viking Saga) from a screenplay by Andy Mayson. Fäh said is a statement:
“‘No Way Up’ is a gripping story of survival in the extreme. A rollercoaster ride filled with suspense and thrills, with a group of wonderfully crafted characters who are driving this story, overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles. To bring them to life with a cast of this calibre is a wonderful opportunity.”
Altitude Film Entertainment is producing the film and it will begin shooting in Malta in spring 2022.
