Ken Jeong Explores the Many Facets of Christmas in KEN JEONG CRACKS CHRISTMAS

I swear I’m seeing Ken Jeong cast in almost as many things as Dwayne Johnson these days. Well, now Jeong is doing more of a documentary type film for a YouTube Original, Ken Jeong Cracks Christmas. Here’s a quick synopsis of what to expect:

Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians, Hangover, Community), a self-proclaimed holiday fanatic, who has seen the Nutcracker over forty-five times and obsesses over his family holiday card for months, immerses himself into different worlds filled with 200 Santas, carolers and ballerinas, alongside celebrity friends and guest stars Angela Kinsey, Joel McHale and Harry Shum Jr.

The show will illuminate the gifts, moments, and magic surrounding the Christmas holiday. Fans can watch as Ken becomes an honorary elf, visits the American Contemporary Ballet and carols with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. Jeong will uncover the real Christmas story and beg the question, “how did we get here?”

I love Christmas a lot myself, but I think Jeong may be a bit more hardcore than me. This Christmas special is 30 minutes long and will debut on December 12, 2018, on BuzzFeed’s YouTube Channel. You can see a trailer below.

Ken Jeong Cracks Christmas is directed by Isaac Feder, who will also serve as an executive producer alongside Brett Carducci, Justin W. Hochberg, Jeong, and Mike O’Connell.
