Kenny Loggins Says TOP GUN 2 May Get "Danger Zone" Remake With Him And A Different Musical Act

Will Top Gun 2 feature the iconic theme "Danger Zone"? Kenny Loggins won't give a definitive answer, but his quote makes it sound very likely it's going to happen. Here's what the singer had to say regarding the songs return in the sequel (via TMZ): 

“I met Tom Cruise on [The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon], and I asked him that question. He said, ‘Of course, we have to use ‘Danger Zone.’ So I’m hoping to do it, maybe as a duet with a young act. I’d love to work with, well, there’s young and then there’s young. We have some feelers out to some pretty cool rock acts.”

Personally, I think Bastille would be a good pick for a song like that. I'm sure it'll be someone like Imagine Dragons, although I'm really wishing against it. The last thing we need is "Danger Zone" to be some chanty indie anthem! Of course, if Loggins is along for the ride, it can't sound too far off from the original, right?
