Kenobi Is Being Hunted Down in New Trailer for STAR WARS: OBI WAN KENOBI
Happy May the 4th! Lucasfilm has dropped a new full trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and this trailer puts the focus on Kenobi (Ewan Mcgregor) being hunted down by the inquisitors. One in particular named Reva, played by Moses Ingram, seems completely obsessed with taking down the Jedi Master.
The trailer features a ton of exciting new footage, and it even teases the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader! There’s lots of cool stuff to see in this trailer and this series seriously looks like it’s going to be awesome!
A lot of fans have been apprehensive about this new live-action Star Wars series, but I’m loving what I’m seeing. This looks like it’s going to tell a great Kenobi story! I’m completely pumped up with excitement for this show!
The story in this new series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The show also stars Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
