Keri Russell To Star in The Guillermo Del Toro Produced Horror Film ANTLERS
Earlier this week it was announced that Keri Russell (The Americans) was set to star in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode IX. Now she's in negotiations to star in another film project. A supernatural horror thriller from producer Guillermo del Toro called Antlers.
If Russell joins the project, she will star as "a teacher who takes an interest in a mysterious and withdrawn student. Only too late does she discover that the boy is harboring a deadly secret that is key to their town’s survival."
The movie is set up at Fox Searchlight and is being produced by the same team who brought us The Shape of Water, David Goyer and Miles Dale. The movie is being directed by Scott Cooper, who previously helmed Crazy Heart and Black Mass.
I've always like Russell, so it's good to see her movie career blowing up with big projects like this. Antlers should be a great project for her to be a part of!
