Kerry Washington Puts The Spotlight on Skin Cancer in Trailer For IN THE SUN
Kerry Washington has produced an upcoming documentary titled In The Sun, which puts the spotlight on skin cancer and skin health.
The film comes from Neutrogena Studios, and it follows seven families “encountering extraordinary circumstances of lives lived ‘In the Sun.’ Authentic, poignant and inspiring, each story highlights critical information about skin health and sun safety, shaped with expertise from LA-based dermatologist, Dr. Shirley Chi.”
I know several people including my mom who has had skin cancer and it’s important to take care of your skin. This film spotlights “diverse perspectives and experiences, bringing an ever-important issue to light while sharing how to live life vibrantly, fully, and safely, ‘In the Sun.’”
Washington said in a statement, “I started working with Neutrogena because I knew it was a company that put health on the same level as beauty—and Neutrogena Studios is exact proof of that. ’In the Sun’ is both powerful and empowering, a testament to the impact that real stories, shot from a diverse range of perspectives, can have on inspiring necessary health outcomes. The movie will premiere on April 27th for streaming and on-demand.
