Kevin Bacon Set to Direct Dark Comedy A PROBLEM OF PROVIDENCE From Writer Mike Vukadinovich
Actor Kevin Bacon has signed on to direct the film A Problem of Providence. Bacon is known best for his acting roles in Footloose, A Few Good Men, Mystic River, and many others, and he has previously directed one other feature film in 2005, titled Loverboy.
A Problem of Providence is a dark comedy that was written by Mike Vukadinovich, who wrote the film Rememory, as well as episodes of the series Runaways and Kidding.
Deadline reports the story “is a darkly comedic exploration of greed and violence that centers around an eclectic group of residents in a small Alaskan town as they attempt to cover up a murder for hire.”
This sounds like it could be an interesting story, and I will be interested in hearing who they cast.
