Kevin Feige Confirms BLACK PANTHER is Getting a Sequel... Obviously

In the most unsurprising news of the day, Marvel Studios plans on moving forward with a Black Panther sequel. The movie was a huge success both critically and at the box office. It's still raking in the big bucks!

During an interview with EW, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked the prospect of a sequel, and he said:

"Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one."

So I guess it's safe to say that Black Panther survives the wrath of Thanos and that the sequel will most likely fill one of the release dates of the six untitled films that were recently announced

I hope that they bring back Ryan Coogler to direct the sequel. He just did such an amazing job with the first film. It's hard to even imagine what a Black Panther sequel would be because there's so much that's going to happen over the course of the next two Avengers films.

Are there any comic book story arcs from Black Panther that you'd like to see explored in the sequel? Any new characters you'd want to see make their big screen debut?
