Kevin Feige Confirms LOKI Is Marvel's Most-Watched Series on Disney+, Says Season 2 Is Coming
Loki was one of our favorite Marvel series here at GeekTyrant. It was such a fun and imaginative series, and Loki is an interesting character with so much story to delve into and explore. So we were happy to see that the series is getting a second season at Disney+. Even with its popularity, it wasn’t a sure thing that the series would go on. Some of the Marvel shows have been open to move forward, but some have been limited series that just told a single story.
Now we know, thanks to MCU President Kevin Feige, that the second season is heading into production in a matter of weeks, and he’s also confirmed that Loki was officially the most-watched MCU series released by Disney+.
Feige also confirmed that the entire main cast is coming back for the second installment. That would include Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Wunmi Mosaku.
Jason Lynch, who attended the Disney Upfront presentation this week, dropped the news in the Tweet below:
I am not surprised that Loki did so well with fans. It and WandaVision are my two favorite series from Disney+ so far. I can’t wait for the second season to get made, and for us to enjoy more stories in Loki’s universe. Stay tuned for more info about the second season as it develops.
