Kevin Feige Confirms Miles Morales Is Headed to the MCU in Live-Action and Gives Fans a Timeframe to Look Forward to
This weekend, Disney and Marvel headed to Brazil for their big D23 event, and a few cool things were revealed. But an interesting bit of info was given outside of the event when Marvel boss Kevin Feige sat down with the outlet Omelete (translation via CB) to talk about when we can expect to see Miles Morales join the MCU.
Feige was asked about the status of a live-action Miles Morales, and he explained, “Miles will appear in the third Spider-Verse, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after that, he can enter the MCU in live-action.”
It makes sense that the character would wrap up his own trilogy first before diving into the labyrinth that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those animated films are so incredibly well-done, it feels cool to give them their moment to shine before we bring the character to live-action.
We don’t have a date yet on the third film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which has made some rumors kick up stating there have been delays or problems with the film. Those rumors have been shot down by many involved with the film, and fans have been urged to be patient on the project that will tie together the trilogy.
As for Marvel’s Spider-Man future, Tom Holland’s third film is just starting to gain some traction, and is due to be released on July 26, 2026. Maybe by then, we will be getting ready to usher Miles Morales into the MCU. For now, we will just have to wait and see.
