Kevin Feige Confirms That Stan Lee Will Make Another Marvel Movie Cameo After CAPTAIN MARVEL
With the passing of Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee some fans have wondered how many more times we’ll see him pop up in the MCU.
Well, Captain Marvel opens up with a hell of a cool tribute to Stan Lee that fans are going to flip over. He also has a great little cameo in the movie. Both of these things are just going to melt your heart.
But don’t worry! Captain Marvel won’t be the last time we see Stan Lee make a cameo. While on the red carpet at the premiere of Captain Marvel, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that we would see Stan show up in another film.
While talking about the tradition of Stan’s cameos, Feige said:
“My memory of it is that it started a tradition on X-Men ... that was the first time I was in on it where he was a hot dog vendor.”
Feige went on to say that when Stan Lee showed up on the set of a film to shoot his scenes, it was celebrated by the whole crew. It’s here that he confirms that Stan will be showing up again:
“It became a holiday on set. It became a nation holiday when he was on set up through this movie and an upcoming one as well.”
That upcoming cameo, which will most likely be his last, will either be Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man: Far From Home. Feige didn’t specify.
It’s going to be sad when we stop seeing Stan Lee in the Marvel movies, but I hope they still come up with a way to honor him as they movie forward.
