Kevin Feige Feels The Solution To DC's Movie Issues Lies with Richard Donner's SUPERMAN

Warner Bros. had a rough start with the launch of their DC Cinematic Universe but it seems like they have fixed a few things along the way and they are finding their groove. Wonder Woman was a great achievement for them and now we've got Aquaman and Shazam! to look forward to seeing in the near future.

During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was asked what kind of advice he would offer DC to help them with their films. This is what he had to say:

"I always hesitate to come off as the person who is bestowing advice on people. It's not really what I do. What I do know is, they're great characters."

He then goes on to say that Richard Donner's Superman is the standard that they should be following:

"They're great characters. They're good comics, they've got great history. I'm not shy about saying, Richard Donner’s Superman I still think is the paradigm by which we all still should follow. It's all there."

He's not wrong! In fact, that seems to be what Warner Bros. is now doing. They did it with Wonder Woman and it worked, and I imagine we'll see that same tone moving forward with Aquaman and Shazam! which both are said to have a much lighter tone than the previous DC films.

What do you think about Feige's remarks about Donner's Superman movie being the standard that they should follow?
