Kevin Feige Reveals The Biggest Easter Eggs To Look For in THOR: RAGNAROK

Marvel movies are always filled with fun Easter eggs for fans to keep an eye out for. Thor: Ragnarok is no exception. There's no doubt that the film is loaded with Easter eggs, but there is one sequence in particular that comic book fans will want to pay attention to because according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, it includes the biggest Easter eggs in the movie.

During a recent press conference that I attended, Feige was asked about some possible easter eggs being hidden in the trash piles on the planet of Sakaar. Feige replied with the following:

"The biggest easter eggs are on the side of this current palace. The fact that there are previous Grandmaster champions that we see as one for Hulk is being constructed, and those are all sort of easter eggs for the deeper comics universe. They may or may not ever show up in the cinematic universe, but we thought it would be fun to celebrate."

There's actually a far-off shot of this palace in the trailer and you can see a screenshot of it above. It's hard to make out the faces in that shot, but you do get a very good look at them in the film. I won't reveal who the previous champions are, I'll leave that as a surprise for you. 

After Feige was done talking, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi chimed in with an appropriate joke when answering the question, saying:

"In the trash pile there is one easter egg. It's an actual egg. It's a rather small one. One of the tiny little chocolate ones, and it's in a big wide shot."

Of course, the room full of press busted up into laughter. I love Waititi's sense of humor and it completely shines in Thor: Ragnarok. I can't wait to see what fans think of this movie! It's set to open up on November 3rd.
