Kevin Feige Says a Female Thor Movie Could Happen

There is no doubt that Thor is one of the most popular Marvel characters to grace the pages of comic books and movies. The character has seen various storylines and most recently we saw Jane Foster take on the mantle of Thor. Movie.com recently asked Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige if we would ever see a female version of Thor appear in the Marvel movies. This was his reply:

"We always look back to the comics to get those ideas ... sometimes very specific storylines like Civil War, sometimes just nuggets or characters like Planet Hulk. So anything that's happened in the comics, even a female Thor, become great potentials and the ideas from which future movies can be born.

Feige and Team Marvel are wisely keeping their future plans under wraps for now, but in a way, they are already working on what comes next. Feige went on to say:

"We have hopes, and dreams, and ideas of what could happen beyond [Avengers 4], and I think there are a lot of exciting potential moves we could make."

But when will we finally see that Avengers: Infinity War trailer? Feige promises it will come "sometime this year." The good news is there are only two and a half months left in the year, so that is definitely something for Marvel fans to look forward to!
