Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson's Action Comedy THE MAN FROM TORONTO Gets Picked Up by Netflix

The action comedy The Man From Toronto has been picked up by the streamer Netflix. The movie stars Kevin Hart (Central Intelligence, Jumanji) and Woody Harrelson (White Men Can’t Jump, Zombieland). The film was originally slated for an August theatrical release, but has now sold in a worldwide rights deal to the streamer in all territories, barring China. The transfer falls under the exclusive first-look deal Sony signed with Netflix last year.

“The film revolves around a case of a mistaken identity after the world’s deadliest assassin, known as the ‘man from Toronto’ (Harrelson), and a stranger (played by Hart) run into each other at an Airbnb. Chaos soon follows as the assassin’s world comes crashing down on Hart.”

The film also stars Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode, Jencarlos Canela and Ellen Barkin, and it is directed by Patrick Hughes, whose credits include The Raid and The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

This sounds like a fun movie. I love going to the movies, but I also love watching movies from home. Netflix will release the film later this year.
