Kevin James is Set to Star in NASCAR-Themed Comedy Series for Netflix Entitled THE CREW

Actor and comedian Kevin James, known for one of my favorite series, King of Queens, as well as comedies like Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Grown Ups, and Here Comes the Boom, is now set to star in a new comedy series for Netflix called The Crew. The series will be a multi-cam comedy set in a NASCAR garage, where James will star as the crew chief. When the owner of the garage retires and leaves the ownership to his daughter, “James finds himself at odds with the tech-reliant millennials she starts bringing in to modernize the team.”

The series is being written by Jeff Lowell (The Ranch, Two and a Half Men) and will come on the heels of the series The Ranch and Fuller House, which are both coming to an end after their upcoming final seasons at Netflix.

I’m all in for this. I love sitcoms, and I love Kevin James. I’m looking forward to The Crew, what about you?
