Kevin Smith Called Out By Fan For Kissing Disney's Ass and Smith Responds in The Best Possible Way
One of the funniest things that I’ve come across since I started GeekTyrant was that people seem to love to call me out on kissing the asses of Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars. The thing is, I’ve been a fan of these things ever since I was a kid!
I grew up reading Marvel Comics, watching Disney movies, and loving Star Wars. I’m just a fan of these things. I’m a huge fan of movies in general! I love going to the movies! It’s one of my favorite things to do! So yeah, I enjoy talking and writing about this stuff. This is the stuff that I’m passionate about!
Well, a fan decided to call out Kevin Smith recently for kissing Disney’s ass. It’s pointed out that Hollywood has never respected him and took issue with Smith not calling out the mockery of Star Wars and where the MCU has gone. The fan says he's changed and that it's sad.
Well, Smith had the perfect response for this fans grievance, saying:
"I made Clerks in 1994, in which I proclaimed loved for @starwars. I made Mallrats in 1995, in which I proclaimed love for @Marvel. So if I am kissing ass, I’ve been doing it for 25 years now. You only just noticed? At least I’m consistent..."
Here’s his tweet:

I think he makes a great point in his response, but what do you all think?
