Kevin Smith Launching a Mail-Order Subscription Service for Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash

Last week Kevin Smith released a video on YouTube asking fans to make Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash their "local comic shop." The shop is known as “The Stash,” and it’s located in Red Bank, New Jersey. The comic book store is filled with everything that you’d expect a comic book store to have including toys, collectibles, and specialty items based on Smith's movies, TV shows, comics, and more.

Smith also announced that they are launching a mail-order subscription service for fans in the continental United States so that they can get in on the Secret Stash comic shop action! People from all over the United States can place their order, get a 15% discount, and have it delivered to their house. It’s unclear if those discounts are available on specialty items in-store, or just things you order through your Diamond Comics Distributors pull list.

Smith revealed that there’s a new "Reservist" tab on The Stash's home page. You can click on that and from there, you can reach out to the store employees via phone or email to get your box set up.

Smith opened his Secret Stash shop in 1997, which is the same year he released his film, Chasing Amy. The store was also featured on AMC's unscripted series Comic Book Men, which featured Smith, his friends, and employees running the store and interacting with guests.

I’ve always loved Smith’s energy, and I love how he interacts with his fans. It’s pretty cool what he’s looking to do here with his comic shop!
