Kevin Smith Shares First Poster for JAY & SILENT BOB REBOOT
Kevin Smith has shared the first poster for his new film Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which a lot of his fans are excited about seeing. The poster came with the following note on Instagram:
"I’m proud to present the first of our two Jay and Silent Bob Reboot theatrical release posters. This phenomenal poster homages another recent Hollywood flick (that Reboot costar Harley Quinn Smith was also in) while calling to mind every 70’s and 80’s movie marketing campaign I ever saw while growing up! Tony hand drew everything you see here and made a masterpiece that’ll hang in my home forever!"
When sharing what the new movie is about, Smith previously said:
If you remember Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it was a movie in which Jay and Silent Bob found out Hollywood was making a movie about them so they went cross country to Hollywood to stop that from happening. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is completely fucking different. In Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Jay and Silent Bob find out that Hollywood is making a reboot of that old movie that they had made about them, and they have to go cross the country to Hollywood to stop it all over again. it’s literally the same fucking movie all over again. It’s a movie that makes fun of sequels and remakes and reboots while being all three at the same time.
The cast for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot includes Smith, Jason Mewes, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Craig Robinson (The Office), Frankie Shaw (SMILF), Justin Long (Tusk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Jordan Monsanto, who is a producer of several of Smith’s film projects. Method Man and Redman. Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Biggs, Rosario Dawson, and Molly Shannon will also be in the film. Then there are Flash stars Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, and Carlos Valdes,
