For those of you who missed the An Evening with Kevin Smith Comic-Con@Home virtual panel, you can check it out now! Smith is always entertaining to listen to and in this panel, he talks about all kinds of things! As you know Smith likes to swear a lot, so as you watch this, it’s funny to see how much he gets bleeped throughout the video.

Smith covers so many different topics and He’s all over the place. But, I’ll point out a few things that he talked about that I thought were notable. Those things include Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Twilight of the Mallrats, and the trailer for Killroy Was Here.

When he talked about his He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series Masters of The Universe: Revelation, he was told by Mattel to treat the property like Shakespeare. They want the fans and audiences to care for these characters, so when this series drops, which will start off where the original series ended, expect some great things from it.

Smith talked about his long-awaited Mallrats sequel, Twilight of the Mallrats. He confirmed that he has been talking with Universal Pictures about making the sequel and it’s actually going to happen and the story will be set 25 years after the original film. You can read up on more details of that film here.

He also shared the trailer for his upcoming low-budget anthology monster movie Killroy Was Here. Killroy has been described as ”Golem, the Boogeyman and the Grim Reaper combined.” He’s almost finished with it and when previously talking about the film in a press release Smith described it as follows:

"This is a monster movie in the sense of a classic morality tale. No one wants to see you spill the blood of innocents, but when someone crosses the line and goes bad, you get to make them pay in horrible ways, and the audience cheers. Like The Twilight Zone, Killroy is full of ironic twists and grisly moments. We wanted to make an anthology film in the vein of Creepshow."

Smith shot the film in Sarasota, Florida with the help of Ringling College of Art and Design. He's brought on 26 of the school’s students to work on the film with him.

The trailer for Killroy Was Here starts at the 48:22 mark in the video below.
